Introduction - Who is Robyn Trout?

 Well, starting with the basics, I'm a 20 year old born and raised in Dublin, studying Creative Digital Media in TUD Blanchardstown! Before this course I studied in Bow Street Academy of Screen Acting, as acting is what I do with my spare time. I've been acting since a very young age, appearing in many recent commercials, documentaries, and short films! I love acting.

When I'm not acting, you might find me singing and playing guitar. Like acting, I've been singing and playing music since a young age. Some of my favourite music includes hits like Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin, Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits, and Hurricane by Bob Dylan. Don't let that fool you, I'm also really into rap music, I love Dave, Eminem, Cardi B.. and all the rest really! My music playlists would definitely confuse you, from country, to rap, to 70's music.. I love it all!

I also really love fashion and travelling. I think a career I'd love to have would be to have a travel blog. I love Instagram and YouTube and have built myself up to 10k followers so hopefully one day I'll have the lifestyle to travel around and document my trips! Some places I can't wait to travel to are: Almafi Coast in Italy, Australia, Thailand, Caribbean, and more!

    Congrats on 10k follows thats mad impressive! You're gonna have to fight with Matthew to see who will be the bigger social media star! I love your taste in music, Dire Straits our amazing personally my favorite is Romeo and Juliet but sultans of swing is great too. Hope you keep up with your Youtube and such in the future.

    Hi Robyn, you have a nice introduction and yourself, it is nice to learn about what kind of person you are and what are your interest. I think it is very cool and interesting that you act and can play the guitar. You should play in college one day when we come back, would like to hear you play. I would also love to travel around the world and explore, hopefully it will be possible again when this all calms down.

    It's always interesting to see the many different backgrounds that people from this course are from and you're no exception. It's crazy how many talented people I've met here but I haven't met anyone who has taken acting as a hobby. I won't lie though, it doesn't feel really amazing for me when people have their life together more than me :'(

    Hi Robyn! i find you really inspiring and I love the way you're determined to do all these cool things like acting, singing and playing instruments. I hope you travel all around and world and take amazing pictures, I love looking at travelling posts on instagram it makes me motivated to do the same. I've only started going on trips recently and so far I've been to Amsterdam, Paris, Sardinia and London and I can't wait to go back. It's better than Dublin anyway - Anna Zurawska

    All I can say is wow I did not know I was working with an actor you said you've bean some commercials, documentaries, and short films could you tell me there names so I can give them a look. Also if you do become a travel blogger I warn you the please you plan on going to are scorching! I went to Spain one felt like I was on a grill.

    I really like your introduction post! I'm very surprised that you're doing acting! You're also very talented since you can play instruments and sing~ I can only play basic in ukulele and guitar hahah. I hope you'll be able to travel to the countries that you want to explore!

    I think it's really cool that you are doing acting, it seems to be something you really enjoy and hopefully you can make a career out of it, that would be amazing, your music playlist seem a lot similar to mine, country to rap and 70's music seems like a normal playlist to me!!! Dave is my favourite UK rapper for sure and Eminem is definitely up there too. Hopefully one day you'll get to watch yourself in the cinema or on Netflix. Good luck

    This was really interesting to read love to see a fellow actor, I've done a few acting gigs myself and absolutely love it. I'm sure you'll go far. Your Music taste is impressive, a couple of songs there I haven't heard of but will definitely try them soon.

    Hey Robyn, You like acting and playing Guitar? thats awesome man, Guitar is something I tried to get into before but it wasn't for me but I think knowing how to at least play one instrument is great and travelling is so cool seeing all the amazing things in this world is such a thrill whats the place you are most excited to travel to?

Game Elements

 This week I read into different game elements.  Firstly, I was really interested in learning about the motive behind Objectives / Goals within games. It is very important, in my opinion, to read into this. Every game must have a goal at the end of it, otherwise why would the player bother playing? It was interesting noting the different objectives that can keep a player engaged such as capturing, destroying, collection, solving, chase, or race!  I read more into this here . This is an interesting read which goes further into detail about all the goals to consider when designing a game.  I also learned about critical analysis. Which is more of a non-biased critical look at the game instead of a "fault-finding" look at it. This read taught me how to analyse a game and give feedback.
